Sioux Falls Park Map — iOS Application

1. Introduction

Sioux Falls Park Map ("the App") is an iOS application developed by Really Really Cool Maps that allows users to view and explore park locations using offline map data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how information is handled within the App.

This Privacy Policy describes what data is collected when you use Sioux Falls Park Map, how that data is used, and your rights under applicable privacy laws — including U.S. federal and state laws and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union.

2. Information We Collect

Sioux Falls Park Map itself does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information from users. Specifically, the App does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers

• Precise or coarse location data

• Browsing history or usage logs

• User account credentials

• User-generated content

Any data processing that occurs is performed solely by third-party SDKs integrated within the App, as described in Section 3 below.

3. Third-Party SDKs and Their Data Practices

Although Sioux Falls Park Map does not collect personal data directly, the App integrates third-party services that may independently collect device-level or diagnostic information. These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which govern their data practices.

A. ArcGIS Maps SDK (Esri)

Sioux Falls Park Map uses the ArcGIS Maps SDK to render offline map data that is packaged within the App. The App does not request live map tiles from, or transmit data to, ArcGIS Online servers during normal operation.

Because map rendering is fully offline, Esri does not receive map-tile requests or IP-based service calls from Sioux Falls Park Map. Limited technical information may be processed indirectly through the device operating system or Apple’s crash-reporting infrastructure, such as:

• Device type and model

• Operating system version

• Crash logs (only if transmitted by Apple’s crash-reporting service)

This information is used solely to ensure SDK stability, improve performance, and maintain security.

B. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Sioux Falls Park Map uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. As required by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, the App will request your permission before allowing AdMob to access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising. If you decline, non-personalized ads will be shown instead.

AdMob may collect the following data, subject to your ATT consent choice:

• Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, if ATT permission is granted)

• IP address and approximate location derived from IP

• App interactions and ad engagement data (e.g., which ads were viewed or clicked).

• Diagnostic and performance data

This data is used to deliver relevant advertising, measure ad performance, and prevent fraudulent activity.

4. How We Use Data

Sioux Falls Park Map does not use, process, or have access to personal data. All data collected by third-party SDKs is governed exclusively by those providers’ privacy policies and is used solely for their stated purposes, including advertising delivery, diagnostics, and service performance.

5. Data Sharing

Sioux Falls Park Map does not share any personal data with third parties, as we do not collect personal data. Third-party SDKs embedded in the App may process and share data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

Sioux Falls Park Map is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not designed for or marketed to children. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, we will take prompt steps to address this.

7. Distribution and Geographic Scope

Sioux Falls Park Map is intended primarily for users within the United States. However, because the App may be downloaded and used globally, the privacy rights described in Sections 8 and 9 apply to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the State of California, respectively.

8. GDPR Rights (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the following rights with respect to your personal data. While Sioux Falls Park Map itself does not collect personal data, third-party providers such as Google AdMob may process data as described in their policies.

Your rights under the GDPR include:

• Right to Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”).

Sioux Falls Park Map does not collect or sell personal information. However, third-party providers such as Google AdMob may collect data for advertising purposes, which may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of data under the CCPA.

Your rights under the CCPA include:

• Right to Know — Request disclosure of what personal data is collected about you and how it is used.

• Right to Delete — Request deletion of personal data collected about you.

• Right to Opt Out — Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

10. Data Retention

Sioux Falls Park Map retains no personal data, as none is collected by the App. Third-party SDKs may retain data in accordance with their own retention policies. Please refer to the privacy policies linked in Section 3 for details.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the App operates securely. Because Sioux Falls Park Map does not collect or store personal data, the risk exposure is limited to the third-party SDKs integrated within the App. Each of those providers maintains its own security standards and infrastructure.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. The updated policy will be made available within the App or on our support page. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
